Bellator 283
Like all Bellator cards this card has quite a few unproven fighters with wildly wide lines. We are not going to focus on those fights. There are some spots I really like! Let’s hammer those and get some extra money going into UFC London.

Gadzhi Rabadanov vs Bobby King
Gadzhi is one of khabibs guys. Not just a guy that trains with khabib. He grew up with khabib and was trained by khabibs father. His wrestling is excellent and he’s good on the feet too. He throws a great counter left hook that lead him to a knockout victory in his Bellator debut. Just like khabib he wants to smesh everyone and he got a nice victory over Jay Jay Wilson in his last fight.
Bobby King has been around a long time and he is a well rounded banger. He has that Hawaiian warrior mentality and brought it against Diggs in his last fight. That was a war and he earned a split. Since 2019 he’s only lost to Shabily and there is no shame in that.
King is good, but he won’t be able to overcome the wrestling of Gadzhi. Gadzhi by Dec easy money
Akhmed Magomedov vs Kevin Boehm
Akhmed is another Dagestany wrestler who is 8-0. He will be making his Bellator and US debut. Akhmed trains at American Top Team and seems to be very very legit. Boehm is good. Well rounded guy who’s very tough, but he’s in for it big time here. Magomedov is going to destroy him. Magomedov by submission
Usman Nurmagomedov vs Chris Gonzalez
Chris Gonzalez is good, but Usman is better. Don’t over think this Usman is that dude
Romero Cotton vs Dalton Rosta
This fight was supposed to happen 4 times now. Rosta has fought twice in that time and won twice. Cotton has been injured and had a bout with covid. Rosta is a freak. He is extremely jacked and credits it to his years lifting for football. He actually says he no longer lifts weights. The kid is green, but he’s good everywhere and has serious power. He trains at American Top team. He won us some money in his last fight too!
Cotton comes with an undefeated record and an amazing wrestling background. He trains at AKA and I saw pictures of him training directly with khabib and Luke Rockhold leading up to this fight. He has serious power in his hands and once the fight hits the ground he has serious power
Cotton is the dog and I’m leaning dog or pass for this fight. Fight does not go the distance is the play though. Someone is getting finished no doubt.
Lorenz Larkin vs Mukhamed Berkhamov
Lorenz Larkin is a guy we know well from the UFC. Larkin has fought as high as light heavyweight and has fought incredible comp throughout his career. He went the distance with Brunson and Brad Tavares. Has wins over current heavyweight Gian Villante, Santiago Ponzinibio, Jorge Masvidal, Neil Magny and he’s currently on a 6 fight winning streak. His last fight was a tko over Kyle Stewart at 185. He is dropping back down to 170 and that’s where I like him the most. He has excellent footwork and excellent power. Throws nasty leg kicks. He’s good everywhere. Very strong for welterweight
Mukhamed is coming off his Bellator debut win and he did not disappoint. He choked out Jaleel Willis in the first round. This fight did not come without adversity. He got knocked off balance by a punch early (don’t think he was actually rocked, more of a trip) and Jaleel got on top and even took Mukhameds back. Once Mukhamed got up, he was able to get his wrestling going and he dominated. He has elite level wrestling and his submissions are ridiculous. He is an exciting prospect
Larkin is a good benchmark fight for Mukhamed. If he runs through Larkin he probably is ready for a title shot now. I still need to see a little more from Mukhamed before I count out Larkin. Going to play larkin small
Sidney Outlaw vs Tofiq Musayev
This one is very hard to call so we are going to stay away. Wanted to bring it up because it is the co main event. Tofiqs striking is powerful and creative. Body kick is ridiculous, likes to spin. On the ground he’s a killer. Problem is he’s only fought once since 2019 and it’s a loss. I lean Tofiq, but outlaw is tough especially if there is still any rust. Stay away for me
Douglas Lima vs Jason Jackson
At one point Douglas Lima was one of the best fighters in the world. Is he that same guy right now? I’m not so sure. Jason Jackson is an athletic freak and he always fights a smart gameplan. I think Limas time is up. Jackson has looked like a legit talent. I think he gets it done here
My man, thank you.
