Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov +140
Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov by TKO +300
One does not simply bet against Ukraine in Bellator MMA right now. We learned that the hard way betting against Amosov. Yagshimuradov is currently a +145 underdog in a fight where he holds a lot of advantages. Yags faces off agains Julius Anglickas. Anglickas is no one to take lightly. The 6’3 light heavyweight brings a golden gloves boxing pedigree and pairs that with a wrestling background. He may have lost his last 2 fights in a row, but they were to top competition. I’ve liked what I’ve seen from Anglickas for the most part
Yagshimuradov will be the much faster and explosive fighter. Anglickas is painfully slow and on top of being slow, he is known to gas out. He throws a good jab and it works great against lesser opponents, but every time he takes a step up, his opponents have been able to capitalize off his punches. Yags will be able to capitalize on this as well and find the chin of the lumbering Anglickas. Getting plus money on this bet is shocking
Tofiq Musayev vs Alexander Shabily Under 3.5 rounds -115
Musayev and Shabily are both excellent fighters and they are both finishers. This is another one of those lines that is an absolute gift. With this being a 5 round fight you can almost guarantee a finish. They are both aggressive fighters and you shouldn’t expect this to change at Bellator 292. The line being set at under 3.5 rounds gives them both ample time to find a finish.
Enrique Barzola ITD +240
Barzola never should have been released by the UFC. He has fought really tough comp and has some really good wins. Barzola showed he can wrestle with anyone and that he is sharp on the feet as well. Barzola trains at aka with khabib and the crew and it shows. He fights like he’s a Russian. Tough as nails too. For as good of a wrestler as he is his hands have really improved over the years. Barzola is tough anywhere the fight goes and with his endless pace I see a finish in this one.
Valentin Moldavsky by sub +650
Moldavsky isn’t the biggest heavyweight, but he’s fast and has a great understanding of leverage and balance with his sambo base. This fight with Linton Vassell is a rematch from 2019. Moldavsky was able to come out on top in a close fight. Vassell had some success with his wrestling early in that fight, but faded down the stretch. Throughout the fight Moldavsky may have been on bottom, but he was always the one working and doing damage when it mattered. Moldavsky came very close to getting the submission multiple times in that fight.
Now that it’s a few years later Vassell is a few years older and at 39 years old that isn’t going to help him any. Vassell is always dangerous early, but the longer this goes the more likely Moldavsky is going to take over. The sub prop is looking extra juicy at +650 with as close as he was in the first fight
Josh Hill + Laird Anderson + Valentin Moldavsky -111
This parlay is a bit chalky. All of these Bellator cards have set up fights. The Bellator roster isn’t that deep and they need fights like this to make some names. Not all Bellator chalk hits, so definitely don’t just blindly bet the huge favorites, but this parlay should be pretty close to a lock.
Other quick hitters
Usman Nurmagomedov is a lock to win, but the line is out of control. Benson is still one of the best to do it and for Usman to be -2100 is insane. With that said Usman dominates, especially with Benson talking retirement
Michael Page vs Goiti Yamuchi should be an amazing fight. I really debated taking to bets on this one. The first one I considered was Yamuchi money line. After watching tape I really wasn’t confident. Yamuchi is a bit hitable and Page is an absolute savage for as long as he can remain standing. He is never out of a fight. I then debated taking the fight doesn’t go the distance, but I feel like if Yamuchi does win it will be by Dec. ultimately I wasn’t confident enough to play anything here. I’ll be watching as a fan
