This isn’t the best Bellator card, but it does have some great betting spots.
Aaron Jeffery is on fire. He made Austin Vanderford look terrible and he will do the same to Salter. Jeffery trains with Sean Strickland and it shows. He brings toughness, great takedown defense and excellent striking to every fight. Jeffery makes every takedown attempt hard and never accepts bottom. He’s got good power and should be able to put Salter away. I liked Jeffery’s Trajectory
Cat Zingano is mean and has every advantage in this fight. Leah McCourt is big, but she is not good. Zingano is going to absolutely bully her. I really think she finishes this fight, but McCourt is tough to finish. Zingano dominates and gets a second or third round finish
Sullivan Cauley is my favorite bet on the card. This dude is an absolute savage. He trains with Ryan Bader and he brings an excellent wrestling background with him into mma. He has some of the best ground and pound I’ve ever seen. Yes, he is at a size disadvantage, but Trainer is hitable. Cauley smashes
Archie Colgan is another amazing athlete and wrestler. He’s fighting a tough striker who works the body very well. Colgan has so many advantages though that he should be able to train wreck this guy. Love him as a parlay piece
Bryce Meredith is a great wrestler, but he is extremely hitable and doesn’t seem to take punches well. His 3 opponents have a combined record of 8-14. Meredith is currently a -1150 favorite against 1-0 Brandon Carrillo. Carrillo wasn’t overly impressive in his win, but I’m thinking of taking the shot especially if the TKO prop becomes available. -1150 for a 3-0 very green fighter is just not justified. Haven’t got the prop yet, but a small stab on the money line is needed
This card also features the return of Rustam Khabilov and a good heavyweight scrap in Golm vs James. I like Khabilov as a dog and Golm ITD, but I don’t want to much exposure on this card. I like the spots I picked more and am rolling with that. Good luck to all!
