Vinicius Cenci vs Sam Patterson
Sam Patterson is coming in with quite a bit of hype behind him and I just don’t see it. To me he looks stiff, keeps his chin high, lacks top level athleticism and has an unproven ground game. He also doesn’t have the one punch knockout power you would think he has by just looking at his record.
I see the opposite in Cenci. He moves well, has power in his hands and has a nasty submission game. I see Cenci hitting that chin of Patterson and locking up a sub
Freddy Linares vs Jack Jenkins
Linares will have a small size advantage, but that is all. Really impressed from what I see from Jenkins. Jenkins is very technically sound. Excellent takedown defense and patient in the right way. Linares is tough and is willing to stand and bang, but I see a huge red flag from him and it’s a tendency he does all the time. He will throw a combo and then pause. Almost watching his work. He gets hit when he does it in all his fights. Jenkins exploits that and gets the tko
Joao Elias vs Rafael Estevam
This is possibly the hardest fight to pick for me. The funny thing is whoever wins may end up looking dominant. I like the wrestling of Elias. It was a lot better than I thought it’d be going into tape. Then you have estevam who is massive and has huge stalking power. The dude looks UFC caliber. Also crushes leg kicks. If I’m betting anything it will be Elias, but this is a stay away I think
Matues Mendonca vs Ashiek Ajim
Didn’t love either guy on tape, but with that said I do think Mendonca wins this fight. Not willing to take him at the current line though
Donavan Beard vs Bo Nickal
Nickal wins round 1 however he wants. We are getting the same narratives as last time. Oh beard is pretty tough, he may survive…. No Bo is different. I’m leaning Bo by ground and pound this time
