Jack Cartwright vs Jose Johnson
Cartwright is an undefeated fighter at 10-0 coming out of Machester. He has massive power in his hands and throws with great speed and accuracy. He’s undefeated, but he should have lost his last fight. His opponent was disqualified for “headbutts” none of them were really headbutts. Their heads may have touched, but it was a very very weak call by the ref. Couldn’t believe it watching it honestly. Cartwright was exposed in that fight. He has no answer for wrestling. On the feet he’s dangerous and can end anyones night early, but if you can get through the danger and take him down, he’s in trouble
Jose Johnson is tall long and athletic. He too has massive power in his hands and uses great front kicks to keep range. When he enters the pocket he has brutal elbows and is great in the clinch. His long limbs give his opponents trouble when they tie up. He is 14-7 with his only recent losses coming to ufc comp. He lost to mana Martinez and Robbie Lawrence. Mana was able to knock him out in 30 seconds so it scares me a bit against a power puncher like Cartwright, but that’s his only knockout loss
Jose Johnson is a slight favorite and I like him a lot. He’s the longer faster fighter. More athletic and if he can avoid the big punch he has all the tools to win this fight
Esteban Ribovics vs Thomas Paul
Esteban is another 10-0 prospect and he has 3 wins in under a minute. He is extremely powerful and he has a good submission game. Explosive in everything he does. A little wild at times. Paul is another heavy hitter. He’s a deaf fighter and he’s the guy that called out Connor Macgregor and has been telling Dana to sign him. He gets his wish, but it’s a tough matchup. On the feet it could be close, but Esteban should have a good grappling advantage. Idk if he will use it though and because of that I’m staying away from this fight. Line is too wide as well
Ahmad Hassanzada vs Nazim Sadykhov
This is a fight between two guys who are very green. Both guys prefer to stand and trade. Both have fought very low level comp. I’ll give a slight edge in comp to Ahmad. Nazim trains at Weidman and longos gym. Tough kid. Good cardio. Can finish you late, but I don’t like what I see with him when he’s being pressured. He leaves his chin open. Doesn’t take punches well and he seems slow. Ahmad should be the faster of the two. He will also be the bigger of the two. I think the wrong guy is favored. Ahmad at +195 is basically a coin flip, but you get 2-1 odds. I’ll take that
Claudio Ribeiro vs Ivan Valenzuela
Ribeiro is a slight favorite at the moment, but I bet you this line flips. Ribeiro is big and athletic, but sooooo green. He throws punches with no technique and has been able to get away with it against low level comp. Same with his take down defense. It’s been strength more than technique keeping him up. Valenzuela can strike and grapple. He’s super aggressive and has a great submission game. Valenzuela can more than hang on his feet too. Feel real confident in Valenzuela
Claudia Leite vs Hailey Cowan
Close low level womens fight. Both girls seem good enough, but no sense betting it. Stay away. Stay away. stay away
