Week in Review
UFC 276 + PFL 6
What’s up guys! Well that didn’t go as planned. Between UFC 276 and PFL 6 we lost 10.05 units. Things didn’t go our way. We had a lot of bets on the board and I think I may change how we do things a bit. I love having all the fun props and parlays that we do, but it’s not always good for business. This week I’m going to put out two betting cards. One conservative card, we’ll call it smart betters only and then I will put out a card similar to what I’ve been doing. I will personally still be taking all the props and parlays that I am known for taking. I’ve been successful long term betting this way, but I want a conservative card for my more serious and conservative bettors.
What went wrong this week
I should have never had Jessica Rose Clark in a parlay. The way she lost was always a possibility and I knew it. If that fight happens 10 times I still think she wins the majority, but it was a high variance fight. I should have taken her ITD prop and that’s it. Bad bet
Fading the up and comers. We faded almost every single new hyped up guy on the card and took the veteran. They all lost (Strickland, Riddell, Green, Tavares) I’m less mad about these losses. Make the new guys prove it against a proven guy and now we know what we got. We’ll make money from these losses in the future
Max’s chin held up. I was betting his legendary chin would finally give out. The roulette wheel was hitting black 6 times in a row and I was betting it would come up red. Gotta ride the black. Fight went how I thought it would go. Read was right. I just thought he would go down.
Israel Adesanya fights smart, not to finish. Doing tape on Adesanya and cannonier I thought Adesanya had a MASSIVE MASSIVE edge in striking and it was clear he did. I think he held back a bit. That’s why I wasn’t impressed with his performance last night. Not because I don’t think he’s good, but because I actually think he’s REALLY good. He just didn’t prove me right last night. He could have and should have gotten that KO. Won’t make this mistake again.
It’s a new week and I’m confident we are going to make some money! Have a lot of new stuff in the works as always and we are growing! Thanks for being part of the NeverHedge community!
